Role Overview
As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for the seamless synchronization of Category goals with Marketing execution, while leveraging deep analytical insights to innovate growth-driving strategies. Your mission is to ensure that Myntra remains the most visited and loved fashion destination in India through creative campaign innovation and leveraging growth drivers2. Core Responsibilities
- Key Qualification Criteria
- Education: MBA from a Tier 1 B-School (IIMs, ISB, FMS, SPJIMR, or equivalent).
- Work Experience: 5 to 6 years of experience in e-commerce or high-growth consumer tech.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and convert it into a business narrative.
- Project Management: Proven experience in leading complex cross-functional projects with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Category, Marketing & Innovation Integration This pillar is the core of the role, merging category goals with creative marketing execution to drive high-velocity growth.
- The Topicality Engine: Own the end-to-end "Category-to-Consumer" journey. Work with Category Heads to identify high-potential trends (e.g., Indian Workwear, Wedding, Valentine, fitness) and translate them into "Marketing Bricks"—coordinated efforts across CRM, Push Notifications, and Social handles.
- Social Commerce & Creator Integration: Lead the "Creator-Led Commerce" charter by doing numerous cross brand, Myntra First, Individual, Influencer marketing to promote category traffic growth.
- Innovation in Brand Marketing and Campaign Strategy:
- Viral Tactics: Innovate beyond traditional banners by designing "Shock Drops" (limited-time, high-hype releases), gamified treasure hunts, and "Social Acts" that turn shopping into a community event.
- Gifting & Occasion-Led Pods: Build marketing frameworks for "micro-occasions" (e.g., Sangeet edits, Vacation-prep, Marathon-readiness) to capture intent-based traffic.
- Personalized Merchandising: Collaborate with the "Storefront" teams to ensure the app homepage is dynamically personalized for different user cohorts (e.g., Gen Z vs. Premium Shoppers), ensuring that the most relevant category marketing reaches the right audience.
- Brand and collection launches: Manage the marketing lifecycle of a product—from "Pre-launch Hype" and "New Arrival Visibility" to "Clearance Velocity," ensuring no inventory remains stagnant due to lack of exposure.
- Performance Marketing: Be a bridge between category and performance marketing team to align inorganic revenue achievement via performance marketing for the categories. Work with performance marketing team to optimize category level campaign and its important metrics such as ROAS, audience, spends etc.
- Analytics-Led Growth Strategy
- Collaborate closely with the Analytics team to deep-dive into user behavior, funnel conversion, and category health.
- Use data insights to identify growth "leaks" and propose program interventions to improve Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV).
- Campaign Innovation
- Innovate Campaign Strategies: Move beyond standard sales to design high-engagement traffic growth initiatives (e.g., viral "Shock Drops," Influencer-led 'Live-Commerce' marathons, or gamified loyalty programs).
- Lead the "Traffic Control Room" during major flagship events (EORS/BFF) to optimize real-time traffic distribution across the app.
