🔹 About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Appian Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Appian-based intelligent automation solutions. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong communication skills, and experience working in agile, collaborative environments.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of Appian-based intelligent automation solutions.
• Work collaboratively with onshore and offshore teams following agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Participate in end‑to‑end Appian BPM implementation cycles — Design, Develop, Deploy, Package .
• Develop and manage Appian objects including:
• Records, Reports, Tasks, Sites, Actions
• Expression Rules, Interfaces, Constants
• Query Rules, Web APIs, CDTs
• Process Models, Decisions, Integrations, Data Stores
• Connected Systems, Groups, Feeds , etc.
• Architect solutions with sound knowledge of:
• Appian Process & Solution Architecture
• Appian Infrastructure Architecture including In‑Memory KDB engines, sizing, vertical/horizontal scaling.
• Work with application servers such as JBOSS, Tomcat and web servers like Apache .
• Integrate Appian with external systems using:
• SOAP & REST Web Services
• ESBs (e.g., MuleSoft) .
• Utilize DevOps & CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, Bitbucket , etc.
• Deliver clear communication and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Support consultants and clients by understanding business issues and providing strategic technical direction.
• Contribute as a proactive member of the engagement team to ensure smooth operations.

🔹 Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Appian Developer Certification — MANDATORY.
• Strong understanding of Appian architecture, process models, data types, and integration patterns.
• Experience working in Agile (SAFe/Scrum/Kanban) environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and client‑facing presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

🔹 Preferred Skills

• Experience in large-scale Appian implementations.
• Working knowledge of process optimizations and automation strategies.
• Exposure to performance tuning, scalability planning, and Appian environment best practices.
