What does the team do?
• Anti Spam Engineering team works on areas like fraud detection, analytics, ads quality etc and works with world class R&D teams to develop platforms that help deliver quality ads and various performance metrics.
• Everyday our systems gather terabytes of data on each and every action (impressions, clicks, conversions etc) related to the ad units
• Derive meaningful insights for various stakeholders via dashboards that help them to make decisions. For example: Publisher Performance Dashboard
• Build their own data pipelines using Spark and Machine Learning Algorithms
• Ensure every ad unit adheres to the specs defined by publisher/advertiser or the International Advertising Bureau (IAB)
• The platform gives a real-time spam alert to avoid bidding for an Ad slot
• Tech stack – Python/Golang/Java, Javascript, Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, Spark, Machine Learning
Who should apply for this role ?
• 2-3 years of experience in building or managing large scale distributed systems
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or other relevant majors
• Experience with or interest in Gen AI technologies and frameworks
• A track record of working on scalable applications, preferably at a major internet property or well-known startup
• Good grasp on programming fundamentals including OOP, Design Principles and Data Structures
• Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills
• Solid knowledge of Java/Python/Golang, Redis, Node.js, NoSql Databases, Kafka/Kinesis/Spark etc
• Can exhibit passion and enthusiasm for remarkable technology (Knowledge and contribution to open-source projects, Active Blog, etc. is a plus)
• Ability to learn emerging technical/business standards and apply/coach development team in proper adoption
• Deep understanding of development processes and has personally contributed to critical product cycles
• Communicate effectively & cross-functionally with other teams
