Description Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) - Inventory Management business is revolutionizing how customers shop for groceries through our innovative retail formats. We are seeking an Instock Manager to drive inventory strategies that optimize customer experience, sales, and inventory health across our grocery stores and fulfillment centers. This role requires someone who can work with limited guidance to design solutions, lead cross-functional initiatives, and answer complex business questions through data analysis.
Amazon's grocery business has experienced remarkable growth, with groceries becoming some of our most frequently purchased items alongside everyday essentials like paper towels and household products. We've expanded same-day delivery for fresh groceries to over 2,300 U.S. cities, with perishable items like fruits and vegetables leading customer demand.
As an Instock Manager, you will execute inventory strategies across multiple categories, manage demand planning and forecasting, and drive strategic initiatives to improve customer experience while reducing waste. You will be expected to work independently on difficult problems, influence cross-functional partners, and optimize processes to achieve business goals. This role offers the opportunity to make significant impact on inventory performance while developing strategic thinking skills in a business that is fundamentally changing how customers access fresh food and groceries.
