Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator / Business Analyst with a strong understanding of project management principles, a proven track record in Scrum methodologies, and a solid grasp of data migration projects and data engineering concepts. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our project teams, ensuring smooth execution, and facilitating effective communication across all stakeholders. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management Support:
- Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports.
- Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively communicate issues to the project team and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Support resource allocation and tracking for various project activities.
- Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports for various audiences.
- Scrum Master Activities:
- Act as a Scrum Master for one or more agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies.
- Coach the development team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Help in ensuring the Product Backlog is refined and ready for upcoming sprints.
- Remove impediments for the Scrum team, escalating when necessary.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and transparency within the team.
- Track and report on team metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to provide insights into team performance.
- Data Migration Project Understanding & Data Engineering Concepts:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the phases and challenges involved in data migration projects
- Possess a foundational understanding of data engineering principles, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data lakes.
- Be familiar with common data storage technologies (e.g., relational databases, NoSQL databases).
- Be able to communicate effectively with data engineers and understand technical discussions related to data architecture and infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator, Scrum Master, or similar project-oriented role.
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with direct experience running Scrum ceremonies.
- Demonstrable experience or strong understanding of data migration projects.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts and terminology.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organizational Prowess:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Proactive and resourceful in identifying and resolving issues, with a strong ability to anticipate potential risks.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points!):
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other Agile certifications.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM certification.
- Experience with specific data migration tools or platforms.
- Basic understanding of SQL or other data querying languages.
- Experience working in healthcare projects.
