About the team

You will work with the team who builds Machine Learning solutions for all verticals within slice (Credit Risk, Payments, Product CX, Fraud) to drive the best customer experience. We have classic 0-1 problems galore to solve and want folks who can roll up their sleeves and are up for a challenge. The Data Science team ensures optimal risk management, helps minimize default rates, and supports the organization in maintaining a healthy and profitable credit portfolio.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Lead Data Scientist (Machine Learning) to join our team. You will work closely with leadership, credit risk, and product teams to design and implement data-driven strategies that drive business growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory and credit policy standards. Your work will be critical in enabling scalable, robust, and analytically sound credit decisioning frameworks.

What You will do

• Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable machine learning solutions that drive innovation across our initiatives.
• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models with a focus on generative AI technologies.
• Implement and enhance state-of-the-art algorithms for various use cases.
• Deploy scalable and reliable ML pipelines and services for production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into business processes.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data privacy, security, and model governance.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing ML systems to enhance performance and reliability.

What you will need

• Proven experience with Generative AI frameworks and techniques.
• Strong understanding of state-of-the-art ML algorithms, including but not limited to transformers, GANs, diffusion models, etc.
• Strong know-how with tools like LangChain, Crew AI.
• Hands-on experience deploying ML models at scale in cloud or on-premises environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) principles and microservices is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Experience with agentic AI workflows and multi-agent systems.
• Familiarity with AI governance, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
