Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description The Global Business Finance (GBF) organization is responsible for supporting the company’s executives and officers with financial and operational analysis to drive business decisions that contribute to the success and profitability of Oracle. And Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is one of the fasting growing businesses for the company.

As a member of OCI Finance, you will support the monthly and quarterly production of financial data by operating key processes in Oracle Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) and related reporting tools. You will partner with financial analysts to translate business needs into PCM updates, including hierarchy maintenance and allocation or close-related process changes. You will help keep close activities on track by coordinating schedules, monitoring dependencies, and resolving reporting/data issues as they arise. You will also strengthen data quality and usability by maintaining audit checks, delivering training and guidance, and evolving standardized reporting packages.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver enhancements for Oracle financial system (e.g.: Enterprise PCM).
• Own and execute the defined monthly/quarterly Financial Reporting system’s operating rhythm (actuals/forecast), ensuring accurate and on-time financial data outputs.
• Interface and manage financial close operations calendar for analyst’s team by coordinating schedules, gather data inputs and dependencies, and communicating milestones and deadlines.
• Provide operational support to analysts by troubleshooting reports/data issues and delivering PCM training and Q&A.
• Maintain and govern core system structures and master hierarchical data and define/standardize processes for new business scenarios.
• Improve reporting and data quality by building standardized reporting packages, promoting Oracle reporting tools (Smart View/OAC), and leading data accuracy initiatives/audits (e.g., reducing “Other Product,” onboarding new products).

Key Skills And Qualifications

• 5 + years of relevant finance or business analytics experience
• BA/BS in Finance or Business field preferred
• Strong data reporting or systems management experience
• Business Partnering experience
• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) tools ( such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau )
• Hands-on SQL query writing skills preferred
