About The Role As a Senior Developer Workplace Engineer within the Developer Workplace squad, you will be a key enabler in our vision to empower every developer at Swiss Re with a seamless, secure, and high-performance workplace. Your role is central to creating a frictionless environment that fosters innovation, accelerates software delivery, and ensures compliance without sacrificing speed. By integrating automation, self-service solutions, and secure-by-design practices, you will help transform Swiss Re into a leading technology-driven reinsurer.
Further you will partner with endpoint engineers, developer advocates, and IT Security to standardize developer workstations, automate onboarding and environment setup, and deliver self-service tools that allow engineers to provision their own dev/test environments and access the right packages and privileges from day one.
