Role - Associate Director Operations
The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end supply chain operations for a portfolio of 300+ brands across the Apparel, Accessories, and Beauty sectors. You will possess deep expertise in the P2P cycle, specifically in Vendor Management and the strategic raising of POs at significant scale. This role demands mastery over Inbound Logistics , from overseeing complex Inwards processes to managing the RTV (Return to Vendor) workflow and reverse logistics. Beyond movement, you will be responsible for total Inventory Operations , ensuring high Stock Availability through rigorous Aging Analysis and system-driven inventory health.
A seasoned Supply Chain leader to bridge the gap between operational excellence and product innovation. In this role, you will be the key link between our Product, Planning, Warehouse, and Category teams . You won't just manage the supply chain; you will actively shape the tools and processes that drive it. The ideal candidate is a data-driven strategist who can navigate ambiguity and lead a high-performing team to scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Process Innovation
Product Liaison: Collaborate with the Product and Tech teams to design, develop, and implement tool enhancements that drive "goodness" (efficiency) in Planning and Ops.
Operational Excellence: Continuous improvement of internal systems to automate manual workflows and increase productivity.
2. End-to-End Supply Chain Management
Inventory Strategy: Oversee Inventory Health, Days on Hand (DOH), Warehouse capacity management & Event inventory buildup
Instock Management : Develop and execute inventory plans to optimize in-stock rates, inventory turns
Logistics & Fulfillment: Manage lead times, demand forecasting accuracy, and delivery speed to meet customer expectations.
Vendor Relations: Drive vendor performance through structured Scorecard Reviews and strategic partnership management.
Warehouse & Catalog: Supervise capacity planning and Fill-rate management; ensure catalog integrity to streamline warehouse throughput.
3. Strategic Leadership & Collaboration
Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central point of contact between Category, IPC, Warehouse Ops, and external Vendors to align on business goals.
People Management: Build, mentor, and retain a top-tier operations team.
Performance Tracking: Define clear KPIs and OKRs, ensuring the team is empowered and accountable for hitting targets.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 9 - 12 years of core experience in Supply Chain Management (e-commerce or retail background preferred).
Education: Strong academic background from a Tier-1 institute is a plus.
Analytical Rigor: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data sets into actionable business decisions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
Self-Starter: Proven ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
