Technical/hard skills needed Candidate must have at least 3+ years of experience, preferably in the semiconductor domain, or overall, a mix of STA analysis, ECO, timing closure at block or Soc experience (2+ years as a STA/ECO engineer).
Soft skills and personality traits Good to have: Familiar with python and/or TCL scripting for automation.

Role's contribution to Synopsys' success This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Applications Engineering team that supports Synopsys Signoff (PrimeTime, PrimeClosure) Product platform. The primary focus in this role would be to provide technical support to the top Synopsys customers on STA and ECO domains that will aid in efficient adoption/usage of PrimeTime, PrimeClosure tool and its features by end users. This job involves cross-team collaboration and working closely with multiple organizations like R&D, Product Engineers, Application Engineers and Marketing teams. We’re looking for an Application Engineer to join our world-class AE team. You will help with providing technical and engineering insight and direction to improve usability, applicability, and adoption of Synopsys Signoff products, platforms, and solutions to meet the customer’s business needs.
